I focus on a "storytelling" style, which means I’m a quiet observer for most of the day, documentarian-style. I want you to look back at your gallery and not just remember how you looked, but exactly how you felt.

I got emotional seeing photos of my dad tear up when he first saw me in my dress, and I felt excited when I saw my husbands face when he first turned round when I was walking down the isle. Capella Photography began as a quiet passion that refused to stay in the background. I loved photography from a very young age assisting in my own parents photography studio. As I grew up I while spending my days behind a reception desk, I spent my weekends and evenings chasing the perfect light and documenting the stories of couples in love. What started as a "dream job" on the side eventually blossomed into a full-time obsession with storytelling.
The transition from a busy office to the centre of life’s most beautiful celebrations was fuelled by a simple realization: I didn’t just want to take photos; I wanted to preserve the feeling of a moment. Today, Capella Photography is the result of that leap of faith—a dedicated, heart-led business with now over 6 years experience.
